Welcome to Rootsyoga:

Nurturing Grounded and Balanced Young Minds

Now more than ever, children and teens need the grounding practices of yoga. In a world filled with virtual realities, fast-paced content, and constant distractions, yoga helps children root themselves in the present, accept who they are, and grow strong—both inside and out.

At Rootsyoga, I’m passionate about supporting young people through yoga that is fun, meaningful, and deeply nurturing. My classes are designed to enhance emotional awareness, build focus and resilience, and support physical health through movement, mindfulness, and breathwork.

Yoga lays the foundation for healthy self-esteem and emotional intelligence. Through asanas, mudras, mantras, and creative mindfulness activities—like guided visualisations, drawing feelings in circle time, and breathing exercises—children learn how to manage stress, listen to their bodies, and relate to others with empathy and confidence.

These are essential life skills, equipping young minds to face challenges with calm, clarity, and strength. Yoga fosters not only flexibility of the body, but also of the heart and mind—nurturing the seeds of equanimity that will grow with them on their path ahead.
