Breathe in, breathe out, let warmth navigate through the calm waters within. Inhale to embrace the energy, exhale to release tension and soothe the mind.
Ana Bolena Chamie Gandur
I am a yoga teacher based in Norwich, specialising in restorative yoga, as well as yoga and mindfulness for children and teens. With a deep love for nature and yoga, I teach with care and compassion, inviting individuals of all ages and skill levels to explore the soothing benefits of restorative yoga in an environment that celebrates the natural world. My classes are designed to accommodate everyone, from beginners to those looking to deepen their practice, and include specialised sessions for children and teenagers focused on cultivating mindfulness and resilience.
At Yogana, the restorative yoga classes seamlessly blend the principles of Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, and Raja Yoga. Each session is carefully designed to meet the diverse needs of our students, creating an inclusive environment that supports personal growth and wellness. In addition to these classes, I offer specialized sessions for children and teens, including those with special needs. These classes focus on enhancing emotional well-being and resilience at all stages of development. By fostering skills in self-awareness, self-regulation, and effective coping, our fellow young beings will be equipped with the tools they need to navigate life's challenges with confidence and calm.
My commitment to using yoga to aid others is fuelled by how yoga has transformed my own life and my passion for the natural world. Having introduced yoga to vulnerable populations in both Colombia and the UK, including victims of violence and the homeless, I've seen firsthand the profound impact it can have. Through Yogana, you'll find more than just a place to practise yoga—you'll discover a vibrant social service project dedicated to bringing healing and support to those who need it most, all while fostering a connection to nature.
